Humans of Bis – Scott

Meet Scott, a proud Bis team member from Mount Barker. Scott has been an Operator at our Karara operations in WA for five years where he operates a broad range of Bis machinery including operating the dozer for the Tailings Storage Facility that Bis manages for our customer.
 
‘A typical day for me can be pretty varied because we have our usual tasks and a small crew. Some days we will do a gap stint in the mobile conveyor, other times there is a lot of grader work and most days there is always bulldozing to be done,” said Scott.
 
Scott’s infectious energy and work ethic are testament to his strong will and character. He also credits Bis for taking a chance on him and supporting him through tough times.
 
“I love the fact that I got an opportunity with Bis. I’m proud of myself for sticking with it and reaching my five years of service.”
