Bis secures new three-year Water Corporation contract with innovative haulage solution

Leading provider of specialised haulage, materials handling and underground services Bis, has today announced its award of a three-year contract by Water Corporation to provide essential on-road haulage services in and around Perth, Western Australia.
 
Water Corporation is the principal supplier of water, wastewater and drainage services throughout Western Australia.
 
The initial three-year contract will see Bis load and haul processed biosolids from numerous Water Corporation water treatment plant sites in Perth to a mixture of industrial and farming operations for further processing and recycling.
 
Bis will utilise an innovative fleet of new road train combinations, developed specifically for this contract; introducing a new level of flexibility and reliability to the handling and movement of biosolids.
 
Bis Chief Executive Officer Brad Rogers said the contract highlights Bis’ unique approach to customer-led innovation.

Bis formally commences the contract in December 2019.
