Paul Donaldson
Chief Executive OfficerAppointed in 2024
With 30 years directorial, leadership and executive general management experience, Paul joined Bis in June 2023 as Chief Operating Officer - Surface & Assets. He was appointed CEO in July 2024.
His background includes manufacturing, mining and logistics organisations, including BHP (20 years), Danakali and Pacific National. His expertise spans multi-site operations, maintenance management, P&L oversight, project management, continuous improvement and business transformation.
Paul holds a Master of Mining Engineering, a Master of Business Technology, a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, a Diploma of Business (Frontline Management) and an Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Metals Technology/Metallurgy).

Graeme Hunt
ChairmanAppointed in 2018.
Graeme brings a wealth of experience to Bis gained from senior leadership and governance roles across the energy, resources, industrial services and power sectors. This has included roles as Managing Director AGL Energy, Broadspectrum and Lihir Gold. Graeme was a senior executive within BHP during a career spanning 30 years, culminating in roles which included President Iron Ore, President Aluminium and President Uranium.
Graeme currently serves as Chairman of Akora Resources and Non-Executive Director of the Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre. He was previously Chairman of AGL Australia and held a Non-Executive Director role with Broadspectrum Limited (formerly known as Transfield Services Limited) from 2012 until 2016.

Emma Stein
Non-Executive DirectorAppointed in 2018.
Emma Stein is currently serving as Non-Executive Director of ASX50 Company Alumina Limited as well as other non-executive roles including Cleanaway, Worley, Infigen Energy Limited and Todd Corporation.
Emma’s executive career involved senior roles in prominent oil and gas companies in the United Kingdom, including roles as UK Managing Director for British Fuels’ Gas Division and UK Managing Director for Gaz de France Energy.
Throughout her career she has amassed experience in the resources, oil and gas and energy sectors. She brings a wealth of knowledge in commercial and strategic matters to the Board.

Jay Ditmarsch
Non-Executive DirectorAppointed in December 2022.
Jay Ditmarsch is a member of Carlyle Global Credit and has worked in New York and London. He is currently based in New York.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Ditmarsch was a member of the Principal Transactions Group at Macquarie Capital.
Mr. Ditmarsch received a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and Economics from Harvard University.

Andrew Thomson
Chief Of Finance, Commercial And Shared ServicesAppointed in 2024.
Harnessing more than 30 years of financial and strategy experience spanning resources, infrastructure and facilities services organisations, Andrew joined Bis as CFO in March 2023, moving to Chief of Finance, Commercial and Shared Services in July 2024.
Whilst he came to Bis from Pacific National where he was Chief Commercial Officer, he has held senior and executive roles both in Australia and internationally at BHP, Broadspectrum (formerly Transfield Services), Greenhill, Helfen and NM Rothschild.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Glasgow.

Kristy Bragg
Chief Of Planning And TransformationAppointed in 2024.
Kristy‘s nearly 20-year career spanning across strategy, commercial and financial disciplines has been dominated by complex business environments in logistics, freight, defence and heavy industry. Kristy joined Bis in 2023.
Prior to Bis Kristy held a variety of senior leadership roles at Pacific National, BAE Systems and UGL Rail.
A seasoned strategic, business transformation, and optimisation executive. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Simon Jones
Head Of Maintenance Execution (Acting)Appointed 2024
Simon joined Bis in early 2024 with extensive operational, mechanical engineering and manufacturing experience, coupled with leading and improving complex and technical environments.
He has a proven track record in using Lean principles and staff engagement strategies to deliver business growth outcomes.
Prior to Bis, he held senior operational and managerial roles at Omni Tanker, Qantas, Boeing and TXM Lean Solutions.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Management.
