Materials Handling

Bis plays a key role in tailings management and operational handling services at the Karara Mining site. The core of the contract involves overseeing the Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) mobile conveyor stacking system, which Bis owns, operates, and maintains.

The TSF, unique to Australia, runs 24/7 and is supported by Bis' specialized fleet of earthmoving equipment, currently handling approximately 9 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of dry stack tailings for our client.
