Humans of Bis - Greg

With his trademark Gatsby cap, Greg (pictured above, kneeling third from the right with the Razor Design and Build team) plays a pivotal role in the Tomago based New Development Build team which was most recently responsible for manufacturing the very first Razor.

Working in Bis’ Underground Services business, Greg’s current team lead role in the factory involves anything from fabrication to modification, assembling new build products and overseeing a team of technicians and trades. This means his days are busy and always different, but working on the first Razor, Bis’ new cutting edge underground grader, has been a real highlight for him.

After many months of building and refining the new grader in the Tomago workshop with the Razor team, Greg was selected to ceremoniously drive Razor off the flat bed ready for its first product launch event. Greg then escorted Razor on its roadshow through the East Coast, speaking with customers about its patented-features and build.

Greg credits the friendly working environment as a key driver as to why he enjoys working for Bis. “I enjoy working in my current role, being surrounded with a good bunch of work colleagues. Receiving some great opportunities has led to me working in a role that I love.”
